Over the course of decades, Carlos Prata has developed a solid practice characterized by a diversity of scales and programs, as well as a close relationship with the territory and the act of building. His body of work includes significant projects such as the Molhos do Douro, the CUF Institute, the Soares dos Reis Arts School, Douro\u2019s Place (formerly the Codfish Cold Storage Warehouse in Massarelos), the Boavista Private Hospital, the Clara de Resende School, the School of Hospitality and Tourism, and Lipor III. It also encompasses landmark urban design interventions, notably the General Silveira Avenue in Amarante and the Douro riverfront promenade between the Dom Lu\u00eds I Bridge and Afurada. These projects demonstrate a rigorous and consistent approach\u2014grounded in accumulated experience and a profound understanding of professional practice\u2014that is reflected in a well-established portfolio. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Catarina Bianchi Prata joins her father, Carlos Prata, as part of a shared strategy that builds upon their respective professional journeys. Having previously practiced independently and in collaboration with other architects\u2014notably Eduardo Souto Moura (during a two-year stint in Barcelona) and the Ferm\u00edn V\u00e1zquez Arquitectos studio (b720)\u2014Catarina brings a contemporary perspective to the firm, informed by diverse contexts and scales of work. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
